Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026. How Annzac Care collects, uses, and protects your personal information, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Annzac Care Disability Support Services (6 Inigo Way, Augustine Heights QLD 4300) is committed to handling personal information responsibly, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect: your name and contact details (via enquiry, referral, or contact forms); information about the support needs of a participant, where shared by you or a Support Coordinator; and, once a service agreement is in place, information necessary to deliver and manage NDIS-funded support, including relevant health information where required for safe care.

How we use it

  • To respond to enquiries and referrals
  • To assess and deliver disability support services under a service agreement
  • To meet our obligations as a registered NDIS provider, including to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
  • To communicate with you about the support we provide

We don't sell personal information, and we don't use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.

Health and sensitive information

Where support involves health-related information (for example, under High-Intensity Daily Personal Activities), we collect and handle it with additional care, limiting access to staff directly involved in a participant's support, and only for purposes connected to delivering that support safely.

Sharing information

We may share information with your Support Coordinator, Plan Manager, or the NDIA where necessary to deliver or coordinate your support, or where required by law. We don't otherwise share personal information with third parties without your consent.

Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, and to destroy or de-identify it when it's no longer needed, subject to our legal record-keeping obligations as an NDIS provider.

Access and correction

You can ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you at any time by contacting us using the details below.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we've handled your personal information, contact us directly first — we'd rather resolve it with you than have it sit unaddressed. You can also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC), or, for NDIS-related concerns, the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
